Dihydrojasmone is a synthetic aroma compound that mimics the scent of jasmines. It is often used in perfumes and fragrances due to its pleasant floral aroma. While it is not naturally occurring in plants (with exception of certain species from the Osmanthus genus), it is chemically synthesized to replicate the fragrance of jasmine flowers.

Dihydrojasmone is a cyclic ketone compound with a unique chemical structure. It contains a cyclopentanone ring and a double bond, which contribute to its aromatic properties. Pharmacologically, dihydrojasmone does not have direct pharmacological effects on the endocannabinoid system (ECS) like cannabinoids do. It is primarily used for its fragrance and sensory qualities.
