Δ8-THCV

Δ8-THCV (Delta-8-tetrahydrocannabivarin) is a relatively lesser-known cannabinoid found in cannabis plants. It is a structural analog to Δ9-THCV (Tetrahydrocannabivarin). Δ8-THCV has a molecular structure that combines features of both THC and THCV. It shares a similar backbone with Δ8-THC but has a propyl side chain like Δ9-THCV, giving it its unique properties.

The knowledge about Δ8-THCV's effects is limited, and it is less studied compared to other cannabinoids. However, it is believed to interact with the endocannabinoid system (ECS) similarly to THC and THCV, potentially influencing the CB1 and CB2 receptors.

As for its relationship with other cannabinoids, Δ8-THCV is considered a minor constituent in cannabis, typically found in lower concentrations. Its presence can vary among different cannabis strains.
